A website for a holistic practice: two audiences, one clear path

A holistic practice often sells two things to two people: treatments and training. Most practitioner websites blur them into one page about the philosophy. How to name the two paths and rank for each discipline.

A holistic practice often sells two different things to two different people: treatments to someone looking after themselves, and training to professionals who want to add a discipline. Most practitioner sites blur the two into one long page about the philosophy. The visitor leaves without knowing what to do next.

Name the two paths on the first screen

“Study with me” and “Book a session” are two different decisions. Nei Piedi la Verità, a reflexology and Taoist disciplines practice near Milan, opens exactly like that: one line on the method, two buttons, then a “you’re in the right place if” block that speaks to each audience in turn. The philosophy comes later, once the visitor knows where they stand.

One page per discipline

Reflexology, energetics of living systems, Tai Chi and Qigong, Yi Jing. Each gets its own page with what it is, what it does and who it’s for. It’s clearer for the reader and it’s what ranks: nobody searches for “holistic disciplines”, people search for the specific one.

Courses with dates, places and a way in

A course is an event. Date, location with a map link, what you’ll learn, how to enrol. A live “upcoming” section on the homepage does more for enrolment than any manifesto, and it keeps the site current without effort.

The practitioner is the brand

Approach, training, registration with the regional register of bio-natural disciplines. Real testimonials from course participants. In a field where trust is everything, proof is the content.

FAQ as a page of answers

Who is behind the practice, which treatment fits me, who are the courses for, how do I start. Written from real questions, structured for search.

Platform

A content-first builder (Framer is my default for new projects) with a booking or enquiry flow and a blog. Shopify only if products or online courses are sold at volume.

FAQ

How do I serve both private clients and professional students on the same website?

Name both paths on the first screen: one line on the method, then a direct choice like “study with me” or “book a session”, before introducing the philosophy. Nei Piedi la Verità opens exactly this way.

Should each discipline I teach have its own page?

Yes. People search for the specific discipline, not “holistic disciplines” in general, so each one gets its own page: what it is, what it does, who it’s for.

How do I keep course listings current without constant site work?

A live “upcoming courses” section with real dates and locations does more for enrolment than a manifesto, and it updates naturally as the schedule changes.

What builds trust for a holistic or wellness practice?

Real testimonials from course participants and registration with any relevant professional or regional register — proof matters more than description in a field where trust is everything.

What platform fits a wellness practice best?

A content-first builder like Framer, with a booking or enquiry flow and a blog. Shopify only makes sense if products or online courses are sold at real volume.

What should an FAQ section for a practitioner site actually answer?

Real questions people ask before booking or enrolling: who’s behind the practice, which treatment fits them, who the courses are for, how to get started — written from those actual questions rather than generic copy.
